ERMIE SP 2010

Starting to gather my materials to make some dresses, tops, skinny scarves and skirts.
I'll be working with dyes for the first time, and digital printing. Above: Indian sheer linen, Japanese cotton gauze, and silk-bamboo blend yarn. Stay tuned.

Excellent! Immersion dyeing? You love drying the fabric on the clothes line - all the beautiful colorful cloth all lined up - have fun!

Janis, Procion Dyes! Inspired by you!
I'm always frustrated that I can't find a nice, breezy, striped tank to wear in the summer, so I'm going to make one (with hand-painted stripes)!
Thanks everyone for your encouragement, now I just need more time!!

That yarn looks divine! I cannot wait to see what you create with it and all the other materials you've collected.
